2012 Goals:
Goal #1-Form a VBS Help Team
We need to help the churches that did not have VBS this past summer. VBS is a great opportunity to reach children and their families with the gospel, but there were around five churches that did not host a VBS this summer for one reason or another. The goal for these teams is to help churches promote, teach, lead and help with VBS in any way possible.
If you or someone you know, would like to reach the children of our county with the truth and good news of Jesus Christ in this way, please contact me.
Goal #2-Form a Community Needs Team
We are looking for men and women that can respond to needs around the state. It is not important that you are available all the time, but that you are frequently available and would like to be called to help if a need arises. This in not considered disaster relief, per se, in that the needs can vary. The possible needs could range from helping widows with home repairs to raking leaves for the elderly to shoveling snow for those unable to doing drywall work for a flooded church or home.
If you or someone you know would like to be put on a list of volunteers to be contacted when a need should arise, please contact me.
Opportunities:
15 day Belarus Mission Trip-May/June 2012
Goals for this 15 day mission trip:
-Conduct a Vacation Bible School
-Provide construction workers
-Send preachers to preach at various churches in southwest Belarus.
We give thanks to God for allowing this mission partnership with the Baptists of Belarus. The door remains open for now in this former Soviet Republic. Encouraging the churches and ministering to the children of Belarus are vital ways to plant seeds of the Gospel that will bear fruit for generations to come. Is God calling you to go to Belarus? Will you pray about participating in this exciting world mission opportunity? Will your church consider sending your pastor? The cost will range from approximately $2000.00 to $2500.00 per person.

The association has an emergency response trailer available for the use of any church in the association which requests it. The trailer is also available to respond to situations outside of Association as we are called upon and able to respond. This ministry is in need of additional volunteers to be trained and available for call out in an emergency.
